Funding Opportunities
The Alliance is administering a new program, funded by Shell, that will benefit the integrity of the Gulf of America through coastal conservation, restoration, and management of species and habitats. Funding is available to implement projects that make a positive impact on biodiversity in the Gulf and meet actions in Governors’ Action Plan IV.
Successful projects will demonstrate a measurable impact on species and/or critical habitat (e.g. sea turtle nesting beaches, wildlife foraging and resting areas, estuarine and marine areas). Up to $400,000 is available and the deadline to apply is January 30, 2026.

The Alliance is seeking a contractor to advance the development of the Gulf Coast Adaptation and Resilience Plan (GCARP) strategy including project coordination, meeting coordination and facilitation, and preparing a final report. Up to $110,000 is available and the deadline to apply is January 30, 2026.
