Environmental literacy is the foundation for understanding the Gulf’s ecological and economic value. The Education and Engagement Team works to advance Alliance priorities, foster a deeper understanding of the Gulf’s value across the region, and supports educators with high-quality resources and professional development.

In this Governors’ Action Plan V, the Education and Engagement Team increases environmental literacy and aligns educational initiatives with workforce needs to strengthen the coastal economy.
